Johnathon L. Jackson
Johnathon L. Jackson is a proud Cleveland native now living in Los Angeles.
He’s an alumnus of the inaugural cohort for the story27 Writer’s Colony. Upon completion of the program, Johnathon was able to take the skills, resources, and connections from the colony to gain representation from ColorCreative Management as a multi-hyphenate artist.
Also a playwright, Johnathon’s last play “The Night in Question” was a part of the Ink-ubator festival in partnership with the Black Creators Collective and the WACO Theatre Center under the direction of Richard and Tina Knowles Lawson. He currently has a new play entitled “All the Flowers Have Died” premiering in his hometown of Cleveland.
After leaving the colony Johnathon worked on several projects before landing in the writers room as the Showrunner’s Assistant for the upcoming Netflix series “Forever”, an adaptation of the Judy Blum novel crafted by Mara Brock Akil.
